Kristy is a multi-skilled extrovert with a degree in Computer Science and Business Management who was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. After leaving her years of experience working in a corporate office, Kristy dove into the home-based revolution that is still on the rise today. She has worked as a Technical Support in a well-known web hosting company and also worked for an Australian Institute of Education and Training as a Study Coach, helping online students reach their academic and career goals. From these experiences, Kristy expanded her knowledge in website development, strategic planning, graphic design, social media management, and customer relationship management skills.
Having understood the growing demand for virtual assistants, Kristy established SmartVAs to help aspiring solopreneurs in the digital space. She built and trained a team based in the Philippines to help Filipinos desiring to shift to home-based work, who struggle with a less competitive salary and long hours of commute due to traffic. Kristy is creative, offering innovative and practical solutions, and understands the importance of organization, effective management, attention to detail, working on a deadline, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
