Hello, its Peter Horsburgh, Author of the 5 Habits of an Extraordinary Reliability Engineer. I am also CEO of Reliability Extranet.

Having been a Reliability Engineer myself, I understand the frustration of the job. I work with Industrial Reliability Engineers to give them the confidence in the changes they are about to make to their plant, people and processes.

I realised myself that when I got frustrated in the job there were 3 key things that were missing:

1. I did not have the Tools
2. The Data I needed
3. The Knowledge to achieve the desired outcome

I work with Industrial Reliability Engineers so that they feel Enabled, Equipped and Justified to facilitate change. I do this by working on the tools implemented, the data they use and knowledge they have.

I believe in an efficient, effective and sustainable Industrial world; a Reliability Engineer is key player to this vision. They engineer the reliable plant that is needed to achieve it.
