Jeff Burkland is the founder and CEO of Burkland, a finance firm that specializes in providing financial support to startups across the USA. He has over 25 years of experience in strategic financial management and business leadership.

He is an expert in business planning, fundraising, financial modeling, management, strategic planning, and process improvement.

As an active contributor to Burkland's blog, The Smarter Startup, Jeff shares his insights and guidance on scaling startups and making strategic financial decisions. He also frequently speaks at industry events, participates in webinars, and appears as a guest on podcasts focused on the successful financial management of startups.

Prior to founding Burkland, Jeff co-founded CRC Results, a financial consulting firm specializing in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and strategic finance advice. He played a pivotal role in leading Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 efforts for telecommunications and financial services clients.

Jeff holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
