Shannon W. Martin, senior communications and public relations executive knows how to make an impact. As the Director of Communications at the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, Shannon is responsible for managing earned media, events, branding, and reputation management.

 

With nearly six years of experience in this role, Shannon has become an expert in crafting compelling messages and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. She is known for her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.

 

In addition to her work in the church, Shannon has also worked in communications and public relations for several other organizations, including the Houston Independent School District and Houston Community College. Through these experiences, she has honed her skills in media relations, crisis management, and community outreach.
