Tamica has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources in various industries and Fortune 500 companies. She has coached leaders, teams, and individual contributors. Her focus is on helping leaders gain a better understanding of who they are, their strengths, and development opportunities, so they can move forward with authenticity. With this approach, leaders are better equipped to transform organizational cultures to be more innovative and inclusive; enabling teams to be more responsive to environmental changes and be more engaged and productive.
Working through a lens of inclusion, Tamica has guided organizations through mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructuring, strategy sessions, succession planning, and creating and implementing leadership development programs. Tamica successfully led the transformation of Human Resources teams from a compliance-driven model to an employee experience model resulting in reduced attrition, increased employee engagement, and an increase in YOY sales revenue in a declining industry.
Her latest book "How To Tell If You're An A**Hole Boss" walks readers through a self-discovery process that will improve their career as a leader by taking a look at what it takes to be a good leader. While many of the stories are humorous, the lessons learned are very serious and work toward her mission of eliminating voluntary turnover caused by bad leadership or poor organizational design.
