Bio of Erika James

Erika James is a scholar and expert in organizational psychology and executive leadership. She focuses on three major challenges faced by global organizations, including crisis leadership, gender equity at the executive level, and the impact of commuter marriages on talent acquisition and retention.

She has been named one of LinkedIn's Top Voices and is the author of #ThePreparedLeader: Emerge from Any Crisis More Resilient Than Before. Erika James received her PhD and Master’s degrees in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan and her Bachelor's degree from Pomona College. Prior to her appointment as the Dean of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, she served as the Dean of the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and as a Professor at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
