Dr. Amie "Breeze" Harper is a seasoned diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) professional with more than 15 years of experience in the field. She is an expert in racial and gender equity, intersectionality, and systemic change. As a co-founder of Critical Diversity Solutions, Dr. Harper has collaborated with numerous organizations to achieve their DEI and anti-racism goals. Her company offers a range of services including auditing, consulting, survey and reporting, advisory, and training for leadership with measurable accountability.
Dr. Harper believes that DEI should be integrated into all aspects of an organization beyond HR and basic compliance protocols. She advocates for a transformative approach to DEI with a culture of humility, accountability, and collaboration.
Dr. Harper has worked with various organizations, including the LA Times, NYT bestselling author Kim Malone Scott, Plant Power Fast Food, Mercy for Animals, and Pyn, to provide DEI training, workshops, and consulting services. She has authored several books and organized events with a racial-gender equity framework.
Currently, Dr. Harper is organizing the "Afrofuturism as a Regenerative Future" conference, which aims to shift paradigms for food, climate, and racial injustices. She is a pioneer in guiding plant-based, vegan, sustainability, and ethical consumption organizations to integrate DEIJ principles as continuous and systemic actions.
