MRM 118 - Mini-series episode 3

It's here - the final episode in the three-part mini-series on Risk Management Systems and specifically the Corporate Governance Risk CGR Foundation software.

We've heard about the founding of the software and what the problem was that it was designed to address, and we've also heard from a very satisfied client in Funlab via the Chief Financial Officer, Andrew Wilson.

In this episode, Leo Arouca General Manager Australia for CGR, rejoins us to talk about the why - why organisations need to move away from Excel-based risk registers and adopt a dedicated risk management tool.

There are a stack of benefits that businesses will see straight away - visibility of the risk environment for the organisation, understanding the most important risks in terms of focusing resources, ability to manage access by role and track who has made changes, to name just a few.

Leo also very generously shares a view of the future and some of the additional capabilities that are being baked into the tool as you listen to this program - suffice to say, there are exciting times ahead!

Once again, thanks for taking the time to listen.

MRM 117 - Mini series episode 2

MRM 117 - Mini series episode 2

It's here! Part two of our mini series on Risk Management Systems (RMS) and specifically, Corporate, Governance, Risk Foundation or CGRF.

We are joined again by Leo Arouca, General Manager Australia for CGR but we have the great pleasure of having a CGR and ABM Risk client with us.

Andrew Wilson, Chief Financial Officer of Funlab, joins us to share his experience in implementing an RMS - from defining the problem to be solved, developing the requirements and selecting and implementing the solution.

This is a very informative chat about a challenge that all organisations will face at some point - and we are extremely grateful to Andrew for his open and forthright conversation on the journey.

Please make the time to listen to this episode - whether you are considering software acquisition or have an existing system that is not delivering what you expected.

As always, thanks for tuning in!

I've found a fun and vibrant HR Executive - and right here in Australia (Melbourne to be exact)!

Robyn Djelassi (please call her Rob) is the Founder of Impact People Solutions a unique 'plug and play' HR solution for organisations needing a seasoned Chief People Officer and best in class HR Policies and Processes when they don't have that in-house.

In our chat, Rob shares how she and her team help support numerous businesses with the HR 'stuff' that all organisations need to manage - whether that is difficult people problems or the transactional requirements - they tackle it all.

They are not fluffy HR - they've got commercial acumen and aren't afraid to use it!

MRM Episode 114 - Santosh Kaveti

MRM Episode 114 - Santosh Kaveti

Getting the basics right before exploring Artificial Intelligence projects is the key message from my guest for this episode.

Santosh Kaveti is the CEO and Founder of ProArch, a purpose-driven enterprise that accelerates value and increases resilience for its clients with consulting and technology services, enabled by cloud, guided by data, fueled by apps, and secured by design.

His pro tip? First, get your data sorted - classification, access, governance etc.  Without this, you could be putting your organisation in harm's way and in this day and age, there is no excuse for not understanding the data you collect, what you do with it, how you manage, store and dispose of it.

Once you have your data 'housekeeping' right, you can explore the amazing possibilities of AI confident in the knowledge that you won't be exposing confidential or personally identifiable information (PII) inadvertently.

Santosh shares his vast experience in this space - I know you will enjoy listening as much as I did talking to him.
