Katie Pudhorodsky is a structural massage therapist in Austin, Texas, who specializes in treating the muscles in the head, neck and jaw. With over 22 years of experience, she collaborates with dentists, ENTs, and myofunctional therapists to help patients experiencing TMJ dysfunction, clenching, headaches, and facial pain. 

Her online platform, Help Head Pain, offers self-paced video courses specifically designed for patients, teaching safe and effective strategies such as self-massage, stretching, stabilization, and how to identify perpetuating factors that may be driving pain. Needless to say, we could not be more grateful that someone like this exists to help our dental patients keep their pain to a minimum between visits!

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Dr. Maestas graduated from University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2018 and completed an AEGD residency the following year. She now serves as Dental Director at a practice outside of El Paso & serves as a part-time faculty member at the Woody L Hunt School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Maestas has continued her involvement in organized dentistry by serving in numerous roles with organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Hispanic Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and the El Paso District Dental Society. She was recently named the Texas New Dentist of the Year. Truly, what can’t she do?!
